In 2010, in the midst of the 'Great Recession', I was approached by an elderly friend to help her - she was being taken advantage of by a crooked real estate agent, who had tricked her into signing her property over to him. I immediately jumped on the phone and began making calls - soon I tracked down that agent's father, who called his son on the carpet and made him 'give the property back' (gotta love small Texas towns!). That whetted my appetite for helping folks in difficult predicaments involving real estate. I obtained my real estate license with the goal of doing just that, and had many positive successes over the next few years with creative real estate solutions for folks facing foreclosures, problem tenants, or simply needing/wanting to sell quickly for other reasons.
Fast forward 7 years - in 2017 our precious oldest son was taken from us in a lake accident. I experienced firsthand the debilitating effects of grief. Eventually, when I emerged from my ‘grief cloud’, I began to consider how difficult it must be for spouses, children, siblings and others of loved ones who have passed away to have to navigate the mountain of work that an estate in probate brings while also dealing with their grief. Over the last few years, the Lord brought several widows & widowers into my life who needed help with settling an estate. After helping them navigate the process, I felt determined to use my experience to help my community. I have since helped a number of families who are dealing with probate.
I am a loving and dedicated mother and wife, and my personal goal is to help homeowners in Central Texas get what they want in regards to real estate, and to provide the best customer experience in the area. I'm grateful and honored to be able to help the families we do.
